The problem
The previous site ran on an outdated Drupal 8 installation that lost its upgrade path, creating major security risks, broken maintenance workflows, and stale content.
What we built
A headless platform combining an Astro frontend with Strapi CMS, migrating existing records and adding bilingual Kiribati and English localization alongside custom OpenGraph social tags.
The outcome
A clean, vibrant, mobile-first experience that elevates KCCI’s professional standing and gives content authors an intuitive backend to update notices securely.
